Work Package 7 - Testing with pathfinder telescopes

WP leader: Amelie Saintonge

The objectives of WP7 are to prototype, implement, and test the new technologies that are required for AtLAST under realistic conditions using current facilities as pathfinders, in particular through access to the APEX telescope (5100m) and base camp (2500m).

  • WP7.1 Site characterization
  • WP7.2 Testing energy system components
  • WP7.3 Instrumentation and control systems
  • WP7.4 Observing modes for wide field of view instruments
